We've left these exactly as they were written.
Straight answers, including where it isn't the right choice.
Instead of a bra — that's the point of it. It isn't a layering vest with a shelf of elastic inside. It has shaped, padded cups and wide straps and it's built to be the only thing you put on.
Honest about the limit: this is light-to-medium support. For work, errands, travel, being at home and most of life, people wear nothing else. For running or high-impact training, wear a proper sports bra. We'd rather say so now than have you find out on a treadmill.
No. It's sewn into the cup, not slotted into a pocket.
This is the thing that ruins almost every other tank like this — loose pads that fold in half in the machine and come out of the dryer as a crumpled disc you have to flatten with your fingers. These are stitched in. They can't migrate, can't flip and can't be pulled out.
Wash cold and air dry and the cups hold their shape for the life of the tank. A tumble dryer is what kills elastane in any garment.
Long torso: the body runs about an inch longer than a standard tank, which is enough for most people. If you're very long through the body, size up for the length rather than the bust.
Larger chest: the cups are deeper than most built-in bras and the straps are wide, so it holds considerably more than a shelf-bra tank. Go by your bust row in the size chart even if your band measurement is smaller.
Smaller chest: the sewn-in padding gives shape without you needing to fill a cup. Go by your band.
And if the first one isn't right, your first exchange is free and you don't need to send it back.
Email us with your band and bust measurements and we'll ship the right size free. No return needed on a first exchange.
If it still isn't right, refund within 45 days — worn and washed is fine.
Between two sizes? Go up. The smaller of two is the one that comes back.
The body is double-layered, so it's more opaque than a single-jersey tank — and there's no underwire outline, no hook-and-eye bump across the back and no strap edges to see.
Same rule as any bra: under white, a nude or light colour disappears better than a dark one. If white and pale tops are most of your wardrobe, order the lightest colourway.
It shouldn't, and the extra length is why. A tank ending at your natural waist rides up when you reach or sit down; this one carries past it.
If yours does ride up, it's almost always a size too small. Email us and we'll exchange it free.
80% polyamide, 20% elastane — the same blend used in good activewear. It holds its shape, recovers after stretching, and doesn't go baggy at the straps after a month.
It's a synthetic blend, so if you only wear natural fibres next to the skin, this won't be for you.
Looked after that way it keeps its shape far longer than a bra does.
Plenty of people do, and there's no reason not to — there's no wire, no band and nothing to dig in.
It's a personal preference rather than a recommendation. If you like sleeping without anything on top, this changes nothing about that.
Start with one and get the size right. Almost everyone who likes it comes back for more — and the reason is laundry, not persuasion. If you wear it every day, one means washing it every night.
Two or three is the number most people settle on. Order one first, confirm the fit, then stock up.
